Well this one pleasantly surprised much more than expected.
Each separate story is really entertaining, the writing is great and the cast are brilliant.
It's also great how each one intersects with the other.
What really solidifies the film is the soundtrack. It is absolutely sublime and perfectly helps set the scene throught the film.
So many amazing songs for multiple genres that couldn't have been selected any better.
I found myself genuinely disappointed came to an end, I wanted more.
If 80s retro, killer tunes and ultra violence tick your boxes then you'll not be disappointed.
Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.

When I heard this was coming I was like yay!
Then I saw who was making it and the cast and was like oh dear.
What has been delivered is an utterly predictable, by the numbers Hollywood cheese fest.
They took Simon Stalenhag's artwork purely for style over substance. Such a waste, someone could have done amazing things with it.
Just look at Tales From The Loop, that's how his artwork should be used, but no, just another souless cash in.
The cast didn't deliver at all and even Stanley Tucci was disappointing.
Its only saving grace is the fact it looks good, that's it. Great to watch but annoyingly poorly executed and boring.
Please stop making these.

Saw this pop up on Netflix and the description sounded right up my street.
It's starts off well enough, but didn't take long at all for me to start getting concerned.
First off, Colman Domingo's performance is so bad. He's not engaging at all and the delivery of his lines was simply cringe worthy at times.
The majority of the supporting cast aren't that much better and at times amateurish.
The general writing is sub par and it all starts getting really just a bit daft and over exaggerated.
At times it's hard to actually take it serious, which is really annoying as it looked like something that would be really good.
To end it is the blatant agenda being pushed. And I don't mean anything to do with race. It's the very obvious demonisation of right AND left wing ideals and holding everyone in the middle and some kind of saviours.
Acting, writing and directing all disappointing.
