Dipankar Prakash has directed the film very simply and naturally, to bring the truth of the story to the audience.

Combining some of the best visuals to make the story interesting, the cadence of the story is able to keep the audience engaged.

Looking at the traditional culture, the director has shot the scene references very closely and has done detailing of each and every parts of the scene minutely.

The music side of the film is folk and traditional. The background score has become very classy. Cinematography, editing of the film is very impressive.

The story side of the film is very important, strong and truthful, which the director has very well ridden with his direction.

Direction is at its finest.

In short it is a remarkable film with its own genre.

The house of both friends Muslim Saifqul and Hindu Palash is right on the border. Both call each other as "Dostoji". Their daily routine is going to school together, laughing, playing, jumping etc. Both are happy with most of the habits and dimensions of childhood. Both of them have a cordial relationship in their families From the beginning till the first half, the story is in its continuous pace. But the second half of the film, that is, after the death of Palash , the story has moved from its reality to a skewed pace.

Minutes after the beginning of the story, the fishermen are seen on Chan Majhi's boat .

Just the whole story begins with this boat and the fishermen. The story of Chan Mazhi, a fishermen whose boat is cursed by his own evil deeds.

A fairy tale begins when a beautiful unconscious girl gets caught in a net thrown for fish and sets off on a boat. Slowly the life of the fishermen aboard the boat starts coming in danger and the main reason for this is Chan Majhi who himself does not know the reason and tells the reason for the happenings to the rest of the fishermen as black magic. Eventually all the fishermen are killed one by one including Chan Majhi (Chanchal Choudhary).

All the actors have acted naturally in this film. Chanchal Choudhary's acting is commendable. The scenes in the film seem a bit lengthy at a couple of places but are not boring.

Cinematography, back ground score, editing, Vfx, lighting, while helping to strengthen the film, give life to the film. The songs and situational music of the film is very good, which lifts the film.

Director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon has shown his ability well through his film " Hawa (2022)" . The film "Hawa" looks at its peak due to directorial intelligence.

In conclusion, overall "Hawa" is a film worth watching.
