Two couples decide to hike in the woods. Near the falls they discover a crashed private plane with a dead pilot. They take a look inside and find a stash of drugs. One of them decides to take it as opposed to the others. The same time a ruthless gang gather at the same place from then on it spirals into a confrontation. The film has a very Independent feel. The acting and dialogue is very good and convincing. One of the gang members Cutter (Josh Cruddas) is one of the creepiest villains in a movie. The other Skip (Allegra Fulton) is plain evil. Sara Waisglass who plays Alexis is more or less the lead actress, highly recommended.

Brenner Baker (Ellen Hollman) and husband Dillon Baker (Matt Passmore) take a trip in the countryside. They stumble upon a house with guns and ammunition. A gang turn up kill her husband and leave her for dead. She lives and embarks on a mission to sort them out. The usual cliches are thrown in there. For example the cafe with friendly locals and owner. Apart from that the acting, production and plot are decent. Despite a very good performance from Ellen Hollman it's Geraldine Singer's chilling performance as Mama which nearly steals the film. Highly recommended for action and martial arts fans.

I saw this movie on Channel 5 in the UK nearly 10 years ago, I never heard of it before but quite liked it, it was about a group of young friends who go the desert to party but someone with a pick up truck with darkened windows follows them and starts killing them one by one, it was not as typical as other slasher films this one was quite quirky, I would not mind seeing it again.

The soundtrack to the film introduced to me to the American underground rock scene from the 1980's most notably fIREHOSE and The Minutemen, every other low grade horror got released on DVD I cannot understand why this one never got re-issued.
