The performances from the two main actors are indeed great but I cannot condone and reward their behaviour. Mostly his because she couldn't help it.

It all starts when the convict wanted to bring a gift bag filled with fruit to the family of the man he accidentally killed with his car. Then, he began to feel infatuated with his cerebral-palsied daughter. The daughter of the murdered man. And you know what this mentally challenged man tried to do? Rape that girl. Unsuccessful...because she fainted. Romantic a.f.

This is a challenging watch, a tough one. You can find cinematic quality here, of course, the director is talented, the actors as well. But the subject matter really make this not worth it.

As a Romanian I can surely mention our family dinners look the same. If we don't have an argument at these family dinners, did we really have family dinners? Of course, we don't start our dinners with such a stupid joke as naming our kid Adolph...we go the political route only and we get nowhere at the end.

I fun time with dramatic twists and turns, ups and downs. I just wished they slowed down more a couple of time. They were at 11 way too much, way too often. Really implausible.

I really am in my 6/10 phase of watching movies. These (most) are the movies that flew under my radar or never were on my radar back when I seriously started to watch movies. These are niche movies, chick flicks - like this one - although one can argue that it speaks volumes about the soul-sucking ability of an office and the environment created by it. These humans don't act like real humans but are, like in Severance, a hidden personality of a human that only comes out in an office-like environment.

- movies that involved some known actors but were forgotten by time, movies that had something notable but didn't have enough to really stand out at the time and make an impression, movies that will be later found because of the actors, etc.

This movie is all of the above. It doesn't speak to me directly, thank you pandemic because I no longer work in an office but from home, but speaks to women in similar situations.
