It is a story that unfolds in almost 3 hours without reaching somewhere, or to a conclusion, or a cliffhanger. So to me, it is like I binge watched the first 4 episodes of the first season, and now I have to wait one year for the other 4. I feel like cheated for going to the cinema for that. Other than that the visuals are great. Pacing could have been a little faster, also something that adds to the whole " it's a miniseries, not a movie!"
Complete waste of time. It is the second time I watch it, gave it a second chance in case I kissed something important. A boy runs off home and lands to a place where some depressed gulible monsters live. Nothing really happens. We are supposed to understand that the boys character changes through his interactions with the monsters, but the script is plain dull. In the end, we hope for some explanation or any type of connection to the real world but gives us nothing. Complete waste of time. Avoid
