First of all, this show had a very rough panorama since start. It was almost common agreement that the expectations on "Better Call Saul" were impossible to attain; it was just futile to compete with "Breaking Bad", arguably the most praised and critical acclaimed show on television history. However, it was a very nice surprise watch the very first 5 minutes from the show: it was pure cinematographic beauty, the acting of Bob Odenkirk was, little to say, outstanding (and showed us the sheer complexity of his character, more than he did in 4 seasons of the original show); it had all the elements we used to love of "Breaking Bad", but with their own identity. The musical selection was top notch, as usual with the work of Thomas Golubic, the musical supervisor of both shows. And then, the brilliantly written script made it feel the whole thing as a show that doesn't live in the shadows of their predecessor, but rather a show with their own mood and rhythm, a separate program that you can easily watch even if you haven't heard or know a thing about "Breaking Bad". The dialogues are super funny and clever, and with lots of references. I have seen the first 4 episodes and all i can say is that this show is, at the very least, amazingly consistent and it really lives up on the expectations of the original show. I gave it 9 stars for now only because i know the best stuff this show has to offer has yet to come. Superb television. Watch it.

Few, few shows can even come close to the almost perfection that this anime achieved. It is simply brilliant in every level. It stays far away from other animes that use to have childish and vastly exaggerated characters, with over the top and flashy dialogues and crammed all into a kind of cartoonish history telling (something that the Japanese likes a lot, from what i see). Instead, Cowboy Bebop has an Intelligent, sophisticated history with mature and very real characters.

It amazes me how their creators could pull such an extravagant array of topics and genres and glue them all together in an incredible fashion. Action, drama, sci-fi, comedy,thriller, adventure, detective story, gangster, horror... you got them all here, and brilliantly executed and connected.

The soundtrack is another thing that worths mentioning. It is absolutely superb. Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country, Electronic, Ballads... an all American array of music. As many, many other cultural reference to USA.

A gem like this one is unique. Just watch it.

Im not that of a crazy anime fan or such, i just like amazing stories. Well, you got one of the finest here.

At first the show starts slow and kind of childish, but as soon the story develops, it transforms into a quite deep and emotional one.The pacing of the story, the way they play with time in both storytelling and the plot itself is just superb.This show got all packed just right: drama, romance, sci-fi, action and comedy. The music is good. The animation is quite nice and i agree that the voice acting is outstanding, specially with the "Mad Scientist", he will become in one of your favorite characters ever, i can tell you, he is incredibly well developed. And for that matter, all the other characters are very well made too, you will feel emotionally connected to them. The premise of the show has some deep philosophical meanings: If time travel would be possible, Could a man escape his fate? What would a man do with almost divine abilities? What does the time really mean? At the end of the show, i was left thinking about the immanence of our existence and many other mindf*cking stuff.

If you want a really, really outstanding show, you don't have to look to another place.
