The first and utmost annoying thing about this film is the fact that they are the biggest fans of this team ever, willing to kidnap a referee BUT there NOT even at the match (Yer great fans, hey). These so called massive fans are watching it in a PUB with loads of thugs. Anyway, it's the last day of the season and loyal fans Wiggsy and Cliff assemble for a crucial denouement. It's simple: win and the team stays up; lose and they're down. When their team appears to grab a vital winner in the dying seconds the boys wild celebrations ensue, only for them to discover that the referee (Alastair Petrie) has disallowed the goal. Chaos ensues and Wiggsy and Cliff (reluctantly) decide to take matters into their own hands. To Wiggsy, it's simple: Get the referee to admit he made a mistake in disallowing the goal, and the team stays up while Wiggsy becomes a hero. I suppose it's worth a watch as it is quite witty in places.
I am a massive fan of this series and in all honesty i have never watched a cage fight and couldn't name you a proper cage fighter. I guess some of the people in this series are fighters, if not, there very good at portraying that they are. Alvey owns a gym after retiring from being a world champion, and runs it with his pregnant girlfriend Lisa. They, like most of the people in this series have their own issues going on, which is what makes this program interesting and a joy to watch. Alvey is split from his ex wife who later makes an entrance as a heroin addict, which explains why they are no longer together. The elder son Jay loves having her around and does everything to make her better. Alvey's main fighters are his sons, youngest Nate and his elder brother Jay, who both want to be world champion. Alvey trains them to the top level, but worries one doesn't have what it takes. Also we have ex champion Ryan Wheeler, not long out of prison because of an incident involving his dad, has to be talked by Alvey to get back interested in cage fighting, as he now has this attitude portraying his hate for fighting. Ryan is one minute the nice guy and then he turns pretty bad, basically he has a bit of a split personality. Lisa keeps the gym running as debt sneaks up and signs a hot girl fighter with a bad record (in fighting). Surely Alvey will make her better like he does everyone. Alvey is always there for everyone but no one realises he is suffering inside with his own demons.
Just watch, as i don't want to say anymore. With love from England. Thank you for this series and looking forward to season three.

This film, i only managed to get through the first 50 minutes, so there is a very small chance things could have improved. I watch most films from comedy to war, so i am not just being one dimensional. Plus i really liked the first one. I really am blaming the writer of this film rather than the acting, as once again Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston seemed as good as usual. From watching the film, with the filth talk from Jennifer Aniston it is obviously set for adults, and the first conversation was about her talking about gay male sex at 14. This i found extremely uncomfortable. But my main problem were Jason Batemans two friends. i can't recall them being so pathetically annoying in the first one. It was basically every time they said something. It was like they only had 1% of their brain working. They reminded me of the character in Home Alone played by Judge Reinhold as the daft robber (sticky fingers). But that was a U certificate aimed for kids, which was great. The part that made me turn it off was when they were all hiding in a house and wandering if the owner had gone, so they could quickly get out. So one of the brain dead friends just shouted his name about ten times. Luckily he wasn't in but Jason Bateman asked why would you do that, he could have been in? He simply said, Oh i never thought that far. I was basically getting embarrassed for the bloke who wrote this and just turned it off. Getting annoyed by his two friends from the minute it started is NOT enjoyment, and definitely NOT funny at all. There were quips just like the above one on a permanent basis that made you think, Oh dear.. Anyway that is my opinion, but i hope you enjoy it no matter what i think.
