Sobri jóska was a criminal (in Hungarian - betyár) like Robin Hood. In Hungary he is the one of the most famous historical character.
Hiding in the woods, robbed for the reach, gave to the poor, and fall in love a beautiful girl.
The movie was shot in the original location, the hiding place of Sobri. The photography is very good, the picture are bright and colorful.
The actors are very good. One of the most famous Hungarian actresses Töröcsik Mari is the main woman character.
If you can hire or buy this movie you will have a very good time, and you will learn something about the history of Hungary.

All over the world big campaign, TV spots, internet teasers etc.. And?? A Wainting for this movie. The facts. Some good actor - Nicholas Cage, Cristopher Plummer, etc.. Some special effects.. And??? The movie only a big clone of treasure hunt films. Indiana Jones + Tomb Raider + Hudson Hawk = National Treasure.
I disappointed. The director haven't god an own idea, the characters are not powerful, the story is bad. Is this a good story???? I think it is not. This is a bad film. in 1980 this movie was very good, but in 2004 it is not enough.

This movie is one of my favorite. It's perfect. One of the perfect comedies. No violent, no sexuality, no adult language. Fresh and suggestive. The song are pretty good, my favorite: "Köszönöm,hogy imadott". This song is one of the most favorite movie songs in Hungary.
