Trespass unto us.
One of our Sydney TV channels had a week or two on films featuring Brendon Gleeson.
I have enjoyed his films for a while since seeing 'In Bruges', 'The Guard' and then others. I wish though it would not be so often 'anti social' I have some difficulty to accept this topic to be a positive step toward a better humanity.
I read a few users' reviews and can see the difference of opinions they have. I understand these opinions will be dictated by the aera of the movie one wants to review; one's view of the world; one's beliefs; one's idea of what is supposed to be "Real people, Real men", The real world is not 'The Brady Bunch' or 'Pleasant Ville'. But should it be made of fearless, ruthless and ego maniac people who drag the rest of the humanity behind them? With their actions needed to be proclaimed ever and ever again or glorified?
The struggle that 'Chad Cutler' is facing is well portrayed and understandable. I have witnessed people in my work environment who seems to get endlessly from the frying pan into the fire and back again in the frying pan. People more successful than I'll ever be but somehow who seem to be locked in that destructive loop.
Film making is an art, but it also should have some responsibility. I wonder if film makers are much concerned about it. Or it is a need for them to constantly extend the boundaries? It's not really a question but more an observation.
I don't find this movie pointless, I find it, probably like many, very sad. It portrays behaviour common in the world, but would watching it make a real difference?

I love animal's stories, and this one is certainly beautiful. I don't find artic fox as handsome as comon foxes but they are so cute. The landscape also is magnificent.
Here, on imdb it shows that there are two narators who have done the narration. However I am watching it in Autralia and what I heard is definitely a male voice, unless my ears are playing tricks on me. Nevertheless I was not overwhelmed by it. But it was ok.
I wonder, adults apart, what kind and at what age of kids would enjoy it and stay with it?
As an adult, I found that the manipulation of the story was too exagerated and so highly improbable. And it was, as a result, so predictable.
But the look at the animals in the story may be worth staying with it, if you have nothing else to do.
