Valutazione di supercalafragulistic
I do realize this is a film with a very tiny budget, but it was edited so poorly it reminded me of a student film. The acting from the two lead actors as gay read completely wrong. The white actor became giddy at all the wrong moments that were supposed to be endearing. I think the script is decent, but the acting and horrible directing make this almost unwatchable. There was also a lot of inappropriate laughing and looking at the camera by the lead. It just made no sense and it was like watching a movie that suspended all motion and went into a reality TV spin. I would give this film a zero if it was possible, If someone remade this with a different director and talented actors it might pass as OK. This version was poorly made from beginning to end.
Indie at its best. I think that Jason Schwartzman and Elizabeth Moss both were amazing in their roles. She was beautiful and befitting to the role.
It takes you through the life of a writer and his relationships with his girlfriends and how he is finding himself in the world. It also centers around his mentor. If you enjoyed Rushmore, I think you will love this film. It is funny and you get the sense that the audience has to be educated to get it. Otherwise most of the material would go over their head. I also enjoyed the narration and he had a fine voice. Please see this film while it is still in the theater.

This pseudo-reality show is the new niche of television being streamed into our consciousness. This drama is transparently fake. No one would choose to air this story if it was in fact real. Spelling attempts to come across as sympathetic, but fails miserably. Why? Because it asks the viewer to have empathy for someone that was blessed with a family that loves her and fortune, not to mention having all the doors opened for her to be successful. She has written numerous books and has had many shows all documenting her family life. This is just a new angle to create new viewership. The show is laughable and reminds me of exactly what she states as "Little Girl Lost," because that is what she is. She is a little girl with 1000 toys crying that she has nothing to play with. Good luck getting anyone to feel sorry for you, Victoria.
