As a boomer who idolized dd, it was a double disapointment. I get it...the writers/directors these days have no ability to capture the essence of these lagacy comic book heroes. The bad edits, unecessary music, bubble gum writing. I won't subject myself to further episodes...it's like watching trump. One example that shines...when dd hears the phone call, he should've acted much quicker instead of being over interested and polite. WTF dude...step up. At one point he makes foggy repeat something...clueless? Deaf? So UNCOOL.... Maybe because there are 25 producers, is that a floor at disney? Born again was a great piece of writing and artwork. Someone should have read them...multiple times and then maybe this would have been better. Signing off and I'll say it for you...ok boomer.

So many times we're introduced to what seems like an interesting character such as this detective. What could be a partnership based on respect and the ability to remain professional and focused turns into the same old over emotional and inherently insecure need to talk at all the wrong moments in the plot. It's one thing to give his character a good sense of humor combined with a tough guy attitude, but it's all ruined when the moment of truth comes and the case is on the line yet he shows no ability to focus. It makes the character Unlikeable. The audience wants them to succeed as a team and not despite his need to run his mouth during a chase scene.

I was so annoyed by the quick edits of all the photos, etc. Shame they felt the need to tease the audience with such good material available.
