Such a cute movie with a great script, loved it! Remember being a kid watching the Smurfs series on TV and I love them as much as I did then... Rihanna was amazing as Smurfette. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Great for children and adults alike 👏. Loved the Gargamel interactions and story so much, clever and inventive, it was a joy to watch thus amazing script come to life. Lovely animation and lots of funny bits, just adorable, thanks to all who made this film possible, wasn't too long or too short, just perfect way to enjoy an afternoon. Go see it if you love the Smurfs!!! I sure enjoyed the ride.

Thr story is incredible, intelligent, scary and sometimes funny while being totally realistic. The actors are marvellous. But the writing is some of the best I've ever witnessed from a screenplay! If you love a good solid story with backbone and bite then you must see this film! I was enthralled the entire runtime, everything was perfectly executed by writers and director. Just amazing! Thank You so much for this film, please make more, 😊 🙏. Totally amazed by this film, can't stop thinking about it, I know this film will stay with me my entire life it is that good... please do yourself a favour and see this gem 💎

Where do I start.... it was so bad and I've seen some bad films. What failed it most was the lack of story which is surprising since I was done by Alex Garland who is a good writer so I'm not sure what went wrong here but it was really really awful. The trailer looked so amazing and I couldn't wait to see it in the cinema, the trailer and movie do not match in my view. The story really wasn't there at all, zombies running around and scenes that made little sense with loud noise and that about sums up the whole film. Very disappointing, especially as I do love Alex Garlands writing for film. Ex Machina was an exceptional film, but 28 Years Later has major flaws that are shocking. 2 stars only for directing and cinematography.
