I will keep it short, the anime does a very good job establishing multiple aspect of it's world for 9 episodes, both magic human and political relations are constantly considered around an extremely overpowered protagonist, and that's my main issue. After the well written start the whole thing does a 180 and the last episodes give 0 care about the rules that were so important before, if the "2" parts were separate entities they could be pretty good, but put together it makes no sense at all.

If you not the kind of person who pays attention to details you might enjoy it, but as the story and the conversations are mostly centered around said details, I'm not sure you could ignore them, even willingly....

If you are just watching anime to chill out, it could be good as the positive reviews show. BUT if you tend to put some effort into following what's happening this will be gruelling to watch as the plot armor is so thick no human reasoning could dent it.

That's the one word that kept circulating in my head as I was watching this. Pro:-nice visuals -some gags are funny -Momoa is pretty badass Contra: -the story is terrible you can literally guess all the of it from the begining, that on it's own makes the 2,5 hours feel way longer -the music is terrible it breakes the atmosphere constantly and you find yourself wondering why would they choose that song instead of watching the film -they are still trying to sell a superhero universe mostly made for kids as a dark and realistic space, it gets more and more tryhard with every movie, I mean if you want to look at it with a realistic eye just think for a bit about the last big battle sceene....... -Also we just needed a "random" love interest for a guy like this totally made sense as the bigest cliche of a cliche collective

What probably hurts the most is all the wasted potential, they should finally learn to roll with the story instead of trying to make the most realistic epic fairitale of a hero ever.......
