While this series may or may not be 'totally' historically accurate, it comes really close. The character development is great. I sincerely hope there will be additional seasons, beyond the first two. I would like to see how these people fared during the winter months.

I set my system to record the series. I didn't really expect much, but I watch all medical dramas. Last night I watched the first episode, and was pleasantly surprised to find that I really liked it, especially the acting ability of the main character. He seems to be able to pull off being autistic, down to the lack of eye contact and the 'no affect' appearance. He certainly has an uphill battle all the way with his desire to be a surgeon. I will continue to watch the rest of the series, as I really enjoy it a lot more than I expected to.

The costumes were absolutely gorgeous. The deceit, treachery and politics all seemed very apropos to today's goings on in the world. The photography was good and the scenes were engrossing. Good casting using Ben Kingsley, and the young Pharaoh was also well-cast.

I understand that this is the first original production for Spike TV. Well congratulations to you, Spike, because it was a very good show. The only issue I had was that the volume of the dialogue was too low in proportion to the volume of the music and/or action scenes.

I look forward to more original productions by this up and coming channel.
