It's a likeable enough romantic action-comedy with a cast that seem to be really enjoying themselves. The Hawaiian locations are nice to see. The action works in a relatively down to Earth; though often played for laughs. The leads do have an interesting and reasonably believable chemistry. And the supporting cast do fine. Rob Schneider hilariously does NOT know how to properly handle a gun and it shows.
Faint praise, but it's not bad. It's a time-waster of a film and seems to know it. I found it flipping through streaming shows to find something in a Sunday afternoon and that's exactly what it is for.
