Had no idea about this show so went in totally blind. Seeing Mike Judge attached as the producer gave me high hopes and it does not disappoint. The animation style is really different and took a couple episodes to get used to but I love it now and it suits the tone of the show perfectly. The voice acting is great and the storyline of a guy being hunted down by big pharma for finding a cure all mushroom in the wild is refreshing and not something that has ever been done, especially when it comes to animation. I really hope that Adult Swim continues with this series and stick with the same writers etc. Because they really got a good one here. I give season 1 a solid 10/10 me and my partner both love it, it's really entertaining and the 22-25 minute episode run-times are perfect. Give it a watch, I'd definitely recommend it if you enjoy mature animation. It's also pretty funny at times and the intro is awesome.
I'm not the biggest Looney Tunes fan but this movie was great. I loved the classic painted backgrounds & clean look of the animation it reminded me of the old Ren & Stimpy cartoons. The main storyline was witty and worked well with the main characters of Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. There was also a cool twist at the end of the film that made you root for the characters even more. Honestly I hope that Looney Tunes releases more feature lengths like this one because everything was top quality and I'd recommend it to anybody who is a fan of animated movies and it will resonate with all ages in my opinion. Solid 8/10 stars I'd definitely watch it again in the future.
Naomi Scott's role was spectacular & she nailed it. This movie was very unsettling with a genuinely creepy score and some pretty disturbing visuals throughout. I thought the first Smile was pretty solid but this sequel is definitely a better film overall with a much more entertaining storyline. It was cool seeing the curse being passed on to someone "famous" in the movie. If you enjoyed the first Smile or are a horror fan I'd definitely recommend to give this one a watch preferably in theaters as the sound design is what makes it really scary in my opinion. I'd honestly give it an 8/10 this is one of the rare times that a sequel outshines the original.
