Valutazione di yilgarn
I can only guess this series is based on a manga comic. The characters are one dimensional, the plots are nonsensical. There is a lot of forced humour. There's nothing remarkable about the production, the special effects or the direction.
And yet somehow it works.
Everything is silly, and I'll forgive viewers who are appalled by its childishness. Others, like me, will love the by-lines, caricatures and self-confident story arcs.
I don't know why, but "series" 2 and 3 are single episodes 1.5 hours long.
You might like to view No.3 first, although there are one or two spoilers, the entire episode is the backstory.
I assume "Spec" means specification or special. It doesn't matter.

What's the difference between a soapy melodrama and a meaningful tragi-comedy?
Not much really. Often the themes are similar. People battling with relationships and circumstances.
A lot really. The writing, the acting, The passion of the director and the crew.
10/10 to everyone involved.
The actors rose to the vision of the writer (Noh Hee Kyung); the production crew guided them professionally. They deserve recognition and awards.
I especially applaud the girl with Downs Syndrome (Jung Eun Hye) the child actor (Gi So Yoo) I needed to read all the reviews in IMdB just to confirm that other reviewers saw and felt what I experienced.
It is beautifully paced, the interlocking and overlapping stories of each the characters is perfect.
Please watch this. It's a bit of an emotional roller-coaster so it's best to watch it alone lest you embarrass yourself when the tears flow.
