Andrew Cromey is a Toronto based narrative and documentary editor. He graduated from York University's Film program in 2006 and has been working in the post production world for over 15 years as picture editor, assistant editor, motion graphics designer and colorist. His most recent editorial works include  a variety of work for CBC (CBC Short Docs, CBC Arts and CBC Parents): Shook (2019), Way Forward (2020) and The Waiting Game (2021).  In 2018, Andrew has had the opportunity to produce and edit original series for Universal Music Canada. U Music Sessions, funded by the Canadian Media Fund, showcased the latest live sessions from Canada's hottest upcoming artists.  Additionally, Andrew has worked with a wide variety of broadcasters and media outlets including Entertainment One, Bell Media and OMNI Television. Outside of editing, Andrew is very connected to the Toronto independent media arts community as creator and educator. He teaches at various post secondary institutions (George Brown College and Toronto Film School), engaged in media arts organizations (Trinity Square Video) and is an active member of the Canadian Cinema Editors.
