The return of the old characters was fantastic; however, I nearly lost interest when Uma Thurman was introduced. I find her acting to be lacking, and frankly, she hasn't aged well at all. While I didn't have high expectations after *New Blood*, the show started off strong until her character was introduced. Still, the series managed to redeem itself with compelling plot twists and engaging subplots. The dynamic between the returning characters added depth and nostalgia, drawing viewers back to the heart of the story. The writers skillfully intertwined new narratives that kept the audience on the edge of their seats, making it a memorable experience overall. Despite any reservations, the season is being released and hopefully it will end on a high note.
While the movie itself may not be exceptional, James McAvoy's performance is nothing short of remarkable. His ability to embody various identities is truly impressive. Without his stellar portrayal, the film's rating would likely have suffered.
"Split" is a psychological thriller that captivates audiences primarily because of McAvoy's extraordinary talent. He vividly brings to life a character with dissociative identity disorder, fluidly shifting between distinct personalities with incredible depth and nuance. Each identity possesses unique traits, making them feel like individual beings coexisting within the same body.
Despite the film's narrative flaws and pacing issues, McAvoy's performance significantly enhances the overall experience, leaving viewers both amazed and curious. His skill in expressing the intricacies of his character adds an intensity and authenticity that transforms "Split" into a truly memorable cinematic journey.

The actress portraying Brenda was incredibly irritating. From the moment she was introduced, I sensed it wouldn't work. After the first season, I found myself fast-forwarding through her scenes, which is a shame because I really enjoyed Nate's character. Sadly, he wasn't paired well with her, and I would have preferred to explore his storyline in greater depth. Additionally, I expected this to have more comedic elements, but it didn't deliver.
