Everything you want in a thriller horror and then some.
It was like putting together a puzzle, you know little at first putting together the border, having little clue as to what the image is, then occasionally pieces fit together to give you more and over time you find fits more quickly and the image comes together so you know what it is and now just want to see the finished picture.
Money and time well spent!

Ana Sophia Heger is why this movie was great. A child actor hasn't impressed me this much since Tatum O'Neil in Paper Moon, and she won an Oscar. Ana deserves one too.
She spoke volumes without any dialogue. I a single facial expression I got trapped, hopeful, sad, and confused.
For those that see this movie just watch her at the end when the credits start rolling.
Taron also put in a stellar performance, far from the average acting as Eggsy in Kingsman. I'm glad to see he's grown.

An inappropriate fart joke would not have been out of place in this movie.
Gunn brings what is either ignorance or condescension to his view of midwestern farmers and anyone raised by them. He make Superman into a hick farmers with superpowers. Doing and saying childish things to move the lame plot along. Gunn decided "Ma and Pa" Kent needed to be hicks that refer to their TV as "The box".
Gunn's pitch was "I'm going to make Superman SUPER STUPID, because my plot is sooooo lame, if he actually had a IQ above 80 it wouldn't work. Don't worry I'll throw in enough CGI crap to keep the avg movie goers happy. Tag line: Come an watch the pretty pictures and ignore the childish plot"
Also, the only acting worth noting is Edi Gathegi, he was excellent. Even Nicholas Holt, who I love, was obviously directed to be a shallow caricature of Lex. Just sad.
