The humour of "Pud" continues to resonate, with me with the joy and laughter that it brings at this time of year. Zach's ability to maintain composure during interviews and the raw emotion displayed throughout the documentary are a master class. It also goes on not to over-milk the sketch over time, which maintains it's uniqueness.
I can't express more my deep love and reverence for "Pud," some family traditions, it's a comedic masterpiece, a cultural phenomenon. I find it to be a beloved and often emotional part of Australian comedy, and how it has shaped this period of christmas in my life. In fact I barred up when saw that Tony Martin was to the intro - good stuff.

This was not funny at all. The acting was terrible (what's happened to Vince Colosimo, he was good in the Underbelly series. I seriously would have had more fun tackling a yellow bellied black snake at a BBQ.
The first film came out in another era which is long past and this one doesn't hit the mark. A lot of the old Carlton crew are not around anymore for cheap funding also. If you like dad jokes and puerile humour this could be the film for you but for people that like a well crafted film with clever humour this is not for you.
I work with some old school Italians and Greeks and they will love this film.

This film is so bad it's good. In fact if you watch it you may bar up. It has some classic Aussie charactors performing roles. Neighbours fans should not miss this with a steller performance from Alan Dale.
The wildlife like the yellow belly black snack at the BBQ a highlight.
