Okay I'm calling right now in a world where sequels are nearly never better or on par you've got a couple right you've got Empire Strikes Back Godfather 2 Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Temple of Doom not that many sequels are on par like you could name them probably on like one hand but I will say Megan 2.0 was better than part one oh I think it really helps that the writer was the guy who made the movie housebound I think that's such a quality underrated Hidden Gem of a movie and the film manages to take the story in a completely new and interesting and unexpected Direction and I'm just so thrilled with how good it turned out.

Criminal Minds evolution is good in some ways and terrible in others they try to push a certain plot device by screwing over the characters historically such as When a Killer recognizes a breach in his Network and shuts it down Garcia is befuddled and asks how does he know but if she's as good as we've always been led her to believe that she is she would understand instantly how they knew because it's not rocket science or new to know when someone is breaching your network and then have the capacity Mobly remotely to shut it down and they do that a lot in this show.

Something's are good other things are really stupid and I would shock that up to recognizing a large swath of intellectual capacity by your audience and so you say smart things for the smart people you say stupid things for the slower people and you try to give something to every area of your audience if you're target audience

But if you're in the smarter audience when they do stupid things it hurts the show.

We're talking about season 16 of Criminal Minds evolution.

And it's okay it's pretty good at times but it's also pretty stupid at times pretty formulaic, but one of the best choices this show casting has made has been adding Zach Gilford to the cast...

This guy is someone who I've been watching since he was on Friday Night Lights and more recently Mike Flanagan's Midnight Mass and The Fall of the House of Usher. He's just a hugely underrated actor kind of like Evan Peters from American Horror Story.

I would say the season is good enough to keep watching but not to watch more than once, unless you're a big fan of the series and you buy the whole series and the season comes up in your doing a rewatch or something like that.

I give the season a seven which is a pretty solid score but it's not quite an 8.
