I was so disappointed when "Lockwood & Co." got cancelled. It was such a great show. Then "Dead Boy Detectives" came out and I thought, YAY, a possible show to replace it. Yes, it was every bit as good! It had humor, mystery, supernatural fantasy, love, horror, action, great characters, everything you could want! And just like "Lockwood & Co." they cut it off after only one season. GRRRR! There was so much more story to tell!!! The characters had lots of backstory that was just waiting to come out!!! I am so sick of good shows like this getting cut while the make yet another spin-off of "The Walking Dead!" This show is SO MUCH BETTER! It deserves another season or 3!!!

This show was excellent! Action, mystery, humor, horror, supernatural, suspense, drama and so much more. The characters had depth and there was a lot of back story that never got a chance to be told. It is ridiculous that such a good show gets cancelled after one season. Other shows that aren't half as good run on and on. I don't get it! If it didn't get the viewership it needed, perhaps if just wasn't promoted. Everyone I know watched it and loved it! I found it so much more interesting than yet another variation of "The Walking Dead." I'll admit "Locke and Key" went on too long, or just got a bit lame at the end, but this show was so much more fun and it never got a chance! It is still a must watch show!!!

Each season got better and better as the characters background stories developed and the plot got thicker and more twisted. I kind of liked it when I first started watching it, but by the end of the first season I was really hooked. By the second season I was in love!!! It ended after just 3 Seasons, but there was so much more story to tell it needed to continue and may have even been able to have a spin-off if given the chance. The cast is stellar, especially Melissa O'Neil, who continued to show star quality as Lucy Chen on "The Rookie." This is a truly great space adventure show with plenty of action and lots of mystery behind the characters. I like that the characters aren't static and new ones come and go throughout the seasons. Kind of a cross between Star Trek TNG and Firefly.
