No safe haven was a typical revenge action movie,Wings Hauser in my opinion is highly underrated,he's one of the rare actors who can play both a hero and a villain convincingly,and he is the best thing in this movie aside from some truly nasty deaths,i like revenge movies because most of them are quite satisfying,i.e.the death wish movies,and this film was no exception,violent and better for it,a strange bondesque pre-credit sequence which hasn't really got anything to do with the plot was the oddest thing in the film,but worth at least one viewing if you like a good old-fashioned,action-packed b-movie.

An interesting realistic drama/thriller,well acted,particularly by both female leads:Gretchen Mol and Samantha Mathis,Samantha Mathis playing an oddball actress type was a good turn,Tom Everett Scott plays a good villain quite well,an interesting psycho performance without going over the top,the main lead played by Matthew Settle was a good unhinged performance,the movie itself did meander a bit,but it did have a satisfactory ending,it wouldn't appeal to people who like their movies action-packed but it is worth a look.

Resurrection was one of the best serial killer thrillers i have seen in ages,it was a lot like se7en in many ways,very dark and gruesome,yet quite pacy,full of twists,and a couple of decent foot chases,it may be a little too nasty in some places but i think that was the idea,but never the less a decent enough psycho-thriller.
