I just loved this film and have seen it numerous times. There are no bad performances - led of course by Robin Williams,Gene Hackman and Nathan Lane, but also Agador played by Hank Azaria. Despite having seen it before it is always a pleasure to watch again, not only because it highlights Robin Williams' and Gene Hackman's talents, but it's such an easy viewing with a genuine story and a lovely ending.

When I first read that Eddie Redmayne had been cast as The Jackal, like many others, I wasn't entirely sure of him in this role. However, well done, a masterly choice !! Beneath the exterior of a fairly unexceptional man, was an efficient, skilful Assassin a master of disguise, quietly unassuming yet highly dangerous. This series has been outstanding, matching the Bond films at their very best. Entertaining throughout with no weaker episodes. My only reservation was the casting of Bianca, who never seemed quite believable as The Intelligence Officer she was meant to be and never seemed to offer the part the intensity it required. However, I had been looking forward to this series for some time and it lived up to my expectations, I can't wait for series 2.
