I liked this movie a lot (not just because of Corey!) because it was weird! It had such a funny un-professional feel to it, which was either done intentionally or was done because the film people didn't have enough money. But I think the movie was supposed to be imperfect because a lot of it is from Will's video camera perspective. I loved how each thing the guys did during their trip was so crazy, even the jedi-whatever-it-is war for the campsite thingy seemed believable! The Christian parts could have even expanded a bit, it's totally not in-your-face so non-Christians can fully enjoy it too :o) Okay, so the extreme sports shots were a bit stretched out, but that's just my opinion cause I'm not interested in that stuff- but the movie's got something for every teen. Of course, there's a love story in it ;) Awww

If the film had a little less bad language, I'd say it should be played in health classes at school. But, it wouldn't really be "REAL" without all the swearing, would it? Sheesh, aren't you sick of all those shows that claim to depict the real, true, raw life of a teen? They're all the same: Sex, drugs and alcohol. It's just not fair. Let's make a movie about a teen who grew up in a fairly good neighbourhood, had a nice group of friends, little girlfriend trouble, possibly a little trouble with family, money could be an issue ... But that makes for a boring movie. Truth is, I have never EVER seen kids like the characters in "Kids". If you're going to talk about how "REAL" the film is, you're going to talk about how it related to you. All kids are different. I have morals, so a movie like "Now and Then" could be my reality. I guess you could say I'm a little disappointed with my purchase, but I do think I'll watch it again. Telly and Casper are pretty hot and Jennie's really talented, I recognized her from "Boys don't cry". Ahhh ... I really don't know who to recommend this one to, but the cover box was right: I won't be forgetting about this movie!

This movie was on the TV last night. At first I only wanted to watch because Dawson's mom (Dawson's Creek) plays Laurie's mom, but it proved to be a decent show. All through the movie, I kept thinking: Man, this really happened? No way. It says "True Story" ... Nahh! Couldn't be. Oh, it is then? It's disgusting! If we have to set aside the suspected criminal's human rights to further investigate the problem, let's do it. What happened to Laurie really could have been avoided, the laws just aren't tough enough. It's far worse finding out the hard way that you've had the criminal sitting in the police station before her deed was done and the police couldn't do a thing about it because all you have for evidence is your word over hers. Are there really such horrible people in this World?
