The Jass Grewal cinema has its own charm, however, this movie fails to live up to it. The most negative part is the casting - only Guggu Gill and supporting characters do justice to their roles. Tania seems okayish. Ammy Virk does legit no acting in terms of emotions. Every dialogue of his is without any facial expressions and it's very dull and unnerving. I had loved Daana Paani written by Jass Grewal and directed by Tarnvir Singh Jagpal. Maybe as a director Jass Grewal isn't as good as the writer. Even for the story, it's nothing in comparison to Daana Paani or Rab da Radio. Had better expectations really. In general the film could have been improved simply by casting professional actors instead of singer-turned-actors. The only saving grace are the few Jaidev Kumar compositions.

This is truly a masterpiece. The plot is intriguing and unpredictable. The power-packed scenes have a fabulous background music. The action is top-notch. The characters are all well etched and the casting is very appropriate.

Jimmy Shergill is a delight to watch on the big screen. He is so good at creating impressions without heavy dialogues.

Dev Kharoud has delivered his career best. The way he cries and roars seriously gives goosebumps.

Sharan Kaur is the surprise package. We didn't expect such a promising performance that too in such a layered character portrayed by her.

Mukul Dev is the most "whatta character" thrilling guy. He has acted so well, I can't put into words.

The main USP of the film is the direction, story and cinematography. Hats off to Navaniat Singh, Inderpal Singh and Harmeet Singh for putting together everything in such a coherent manner. The dialogues and screenplay are so powerful.... I frequently got the gush up my throat throughout the film.

It's a full entertainer film. Must watch for all movie lovers. It's got everything - romance, thrill, deceit, revenge, emotions, family drama, action and everything you can think of. The ultimate message of the film is to support brotherhood and trust.

The movie leaves you in tears at the end of the 2 hours. That's sufficient to convince you that it's indeed a masterpiece.

Please try something new in Punjabi movies. We are seriously tired of comedies and terrible romance when Sargun Mehta, who is 6 years older than Gurnaam, giggles. These people from television and music industry who are so-called actors have completely ruined the Punjabi film industry.

The only good films being made are the ones by professional actors and directors like Shareek 2 starring Jimmy Shergill, Dev Kharoud and directed by Navaniat Singh. It's a much more worthy to watch film.
