I'm a big fan of Lambert and in my book he can do no wrong.The Piano Player is a entertaining movie with good directing,solid screenplay and great actors and music.Not better then Resurrection,but much better then The Point Men and Vercingétorix.Very good for a movie with 10 million budget.7/10.
This movie is full of stock footage from previous Nu Image movies.THE ALTERNATE, HOLLOW POINT, MERCHANT OF DEATH, THE IMMORTALS, OCTOPUS, THE PEACEKEEPER.I like good B movies, but this is not filmmaking. Albert Pyun is sometimes very good and funny(BRAIN SMASHER, NEMESIS, CYBORG), but sometimes boring as hell(NEMESIS 2,3,4, CRAZY SIX).For normal people is Ticker an OK movie, but for filmfans is realy, really familiar and boring. I rate it 3/10
