The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is my absolutely favorite video game of all time. As of yet, I've not read any book, except for Blood of Elves (currently in the process of reading them).

Being one of those with pre-existing lore knowledge, I admit the series does a not-so-great job at introducing newcomers to the world of the witcher. That said, aside from a couple other hiccups, the series did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier about it.

I had some doubts as to whether Cavill was the right choice for the role. He proved us wrong. The voice, look and demeanor were all done perfectly (except for one or two "hmms" too many in the bathtub scene - but only one or two and only in that scene).

I had some doubts as to whether Chalotra was what we wanted from Yennefer. She absolutely killed the role and made it hers.

Ciri does okay and I hope she'll do even better in the future. -I was a little disappointed here, but only because I actually fell in love with the Ciri from the game, mainly because of her voice and pleasant optimism.

These reservations mainly came from seeing the pre-release interviews, in which the main cast seemed a bit off, as far as chemistry goes. In the series, they're fantastic and do us fans justice.

Triss was a bit off-putting, not just because of her looks (I know she's got brown hair in the books, but I think the CDPR Triss is loads better due to her being on the other side of the contrast spectrum from Yen), I also maybe think she was introduced to the series too soon - especially if they will make her a future love interest for Geralt.

The storytelling was fantastic, love the format they used for season 1. The magic effects and creatures were amazing, with some rare exceptions. The Striga is one of the best-looking monsters I have ever seen and Guillermo Del Toro himself should take some pointers the next time he decides to create yet another fish-like creature.

Summary: Can't wait for season 2!

After defending the new trilogy for these last few years, I was utterly disappointed in this final installment. In fact, I was insulted. The producers seem to think very little about the fans of the franchise and they didn't try to hide it.

From poor, cheesy dialogues that have no place in the filmmaking world since the 80s to a ridiculously bad character development (or lack thereof), the only thing that's a positive about this movie is the visuals. Considering that it's 2019 that's not saying much - visuals are supposed to be a given with any major blockbuster movie nowadays, so praising that is like biting an apple and saying "Wow, this is super fruity!".

As a die-hard fan of everything Star Wars (movies, games, TV, cartoons, LEGOs etc.) I am heartbroken that I am taken for a fool with such a poor delivery.

To anyone who hasn't seen it yet, don't pay for a ticket. Download the movie illegally once it's available if you can. I've never said this before, but this film is completely undeserving of your hard-earned money.

I first saw Fight Club when I was 8 years old. I didn't understand any of it, but I liked the fighting and editing.

I saw it again when I was 13 and just started seeing movies for what they were - a language. A language through which the filmmakers interpret their own views on the world. I understood more of it, especially being part of "the middle children of history" generation.

After that, I saw it at least once per year and every single time, I realized something new or different about it, and the world itself. I grew with this movie both intellectually and spiritually.

Still took me another 12 years to understand this movie is THE textbook for Jungian psychology BESIDES already being the single greatest social critique of the consumer era.

It's ridiculously smart, deep, beautiful and cool. I've watched basically every movie out there, and nothing comes even close to the degree of greatness of Fight Club.
