This movie is a mess. Most things just happens for the sake is happening, the plot makes no sense and it wastes a somewhat good cast. We are supposed to believe that 1 person, Dr. Reyes, can control 5 mutants teenagers (that have never talk to each other, because they know nothing about each other) at all time but is taking down by surprise by the weakest one of them without fighting back. The romance plot I'll pretend didn't happen because it appears from thin air and doesn't even matter. This movie feels dragged out and rushed at the same time.
I understand that it's a very short runtime but in the end I feel we didn't have much of a story. It would have been better to focus more in the making a movie or the love story, and cut some of the extra stuff, like the family and the Samsung contest. I'm not even sure any of the characters is likable.
