The thing about 'Girls' is that four women hate one another, but they are being there for one another. That's exactly how I feel about them after six seasons. I hate almost every decision they are making in their lives, but I still come back for their stories. I can never hate them because they are all very original characters with real personality and honesty. 'Girls' was so real or even raw for millennials to watch.

The romance between a 35-year-old male and 19-year-old female in the movie is surprisingly not uncomfortable. What makes me uncomfortable is that 35-year-old man, Jesse, is trying to teach about life to a college student by talking too much when no one really has asked and when he does not know about his own freaking life. What makes me even more uncomfortable is that 38-year-old director Josh Radnor takes the same approach and explains and preaches about adult life to the audience. The conversations and the whole lines are so pretentious and pedantic. If I need more information about classical music, literature, or philosophy, I would research it. The whole chunk of lines relating to those subjects are just delivering information without any deeper meaning or emotions. Those lines are just there to fill out the space or to brag what Radnor learned in college.
