This movie is like a fever dream. It is constantly going from good to awful every five minutes. Chris Pratt acting is obviously bad in this movie but Millie Bobby Brown's performance was shocking to me. Why does she sound so bland and monotone? I can get the bland and monotone voice for Eleven in Stranger Things, but this character is NOT ELEVEN FROM STRANGER THINGS? Her voice in this movie is not the type to play a rebellious character. Seriously, why was she even casted in this movie? Not to mention how genuinely awful Chris Pratt's performance is. He is constantly trying to play the comedic relief character and it is NOT working well. Like come on, you really couldn't cast ANY other male actor for a comedy relief role? The only good thing about this movie I can name is the CGI. The CGI is obviously where all the $320 million went and to be fair it looks amazing, but it didn't need to cost 320 MILLION DOLLARS? To put that into perspective, Avengers Endgame cost 356 million to make. So, with that math "The Electric State" and "Avengers Endgame" only have a 36 dollar difference. Again, let's put that into perspective. The Avengers Endgame has a 94% and an 8.4 on both Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB. The Electric State has a 14% and a 6.1 on both Rotten Tomatoes and IMD and obviously it is clear which one is better, but the fact they have a 36 dollar difference is insane.
To anyone who is giving this movie a 7+ out of 10 and telling others to not hate this sad excuse of a movie, you are snorting what Anthony and Joe were snorting while making this movie.

I had such low hopes coming from this series, but boy did it prove me wrong! The first & second episode were okay but by the third & fourth episode I was hooked! The final was a perfect ending for the series, don't get me wrong this series has flaws but that's what makes it special. My favorite episode was by far Kai's episode and I related a lot to it. That's what is also so great about this show, it is relatable for people of ALL ages.
Just think about it. There is an episode about anxiety, there is an episode about the struggle of letting your guard down, there is an episode about a child having to take care of their parent, there is an episode about the struggles of being a single mom just trying to provide for your kids, there is an episode about a kid getting taking advantage of by manipulative older kids, there is an episode about using humor as a coping mechanism, there is an episode about the pressure that comes from being the star player of ANY sport team, and there is an episode a single dad just trying to hold it in all together. There is such a wide variety of struggles that is is almost impossible not to relate to a character, their struggles, or their personalities.
