Conrad Poe plays the titular role of Boy Negro, a small time criminal who is trying to escape poverty, fellow criminals and the authorities.
Boy Negro lives a life of crime but it doesn't stop him from being the dude that the women dig. He has streets smarts and a little of fighting ability but overall he is a nobody. Poe portrays the antihero with a black face in which was quite a normal sight to see in Filipino entertainment in general. The movie is quite slow and nearly two hours of vignettes of Boy being unlucky and just at the wrong place at the right time. It was partly based on a true to life to make it interesting but somewhat it is a downward spiral since its opening scenes which featured a Lito Lapid cameo. (and a whole lot of other local stars)
If you are fan of this Poe then by all means he delivers but don't think the movie is all that entertaining to begin with.

A woman (Fuentes) returns to her hometown which she left with a bitter past. During the town's festival a girl whom was accused being a thief alleges that she is her daughter. Things gets more complicated when the story progresses of her past relationship with the now town official (Rivero).
Billeted as a bomba movie but really it is a soap opera cramped in a movie. Cat fights, ex-lover confrontation, younger man companion, a wild child that may or not be the daughter often dress or not dressed, and of course twists and turns provided by the supporting characters.
Its exasperating but its the brand of Filipino movies that is still present across movies and TV shows.

Teresa played by the enigmatic Gloria Romero encounters two jobless men in Diego (Dolphy) and Tony (Luis Gonzales). Tony makes a play at Teresa and with a successful bid for her hand is close and old flame of his interrupts.
It is an average romantic comedy with Dolphy in a mere comedic but supporting role with a funny one line or two. Luis Gonzales is a perfect match to the wit and beauty of Gloria Romero. Albeit with good chemistry and charm to movie plays like a soap drama trapped in a lighthearted movie.
With a short running time the development of romance between characters its a bit underwhelming but works with the leads' performances. Overall, it is a product of its time a movie studio's adaptation of a popular radio serial that may or may not encapsulate the same tone and theme.
