About once a year I find a comedy which really makes me laugh, the rest just leaves me smiling, more or less. This movie is full of real fun and universal humor while not denying its Argentinean background(I am already fed up with Hollywood, so what I really can't stand are non US productions trying to be Hollywood-like; I believe that German cinema is so bad because its a cheap clone of Hollywood).

If you can manage to watch it, don't miss the opportunity, you won't get bored for a single minute.

Taxi para 3 (A cab for 3) is one of the best films I have had the opportunity to watch recently. It shows the "real" Chile through real life characters, The story is really entertaining, the characters are convincing and well defined, but its not a "feelgood movie". It's a deeper look into the humanity of the everyday struggle for survival of ordinary people who can be drawn into unplanned dramatic situations.

It got the Golden Shell at the Spanish San Sebastian film festival, sending the Spanish superproduction "Juana la Loca" to a humilliating second price - sometimes justice happens and a great, but low budget movie can still win over an expensive production promoted by a major distributor.

This movie is not for the faint hearted, but it's the most realistic one I have ever seen about the brutality of a military dictatorship. But what I like most is the description of the friendship of college students who, despite emprisonmente and tortures, keep their dignity and their desire to struggle jointly for a better world. A movie which should be watched by every apathic teenager - the shock may really make him/her mature his/her views and attitudes.
