OMG - what did I just watch? There are many things that need to be said but the most important one is that this is such a load of trash in every aspect of the production. The acting and mainly Cruse is just awful. Unconvincing and lacking any real spirit. The support actors seem to be trapped in responses that they gleaned from previous MI films and then there is the plot if you can actually call it that. The entire premise of this film is so childish it is astonishing and I know there will be people saying 'but it is just a film for entertainment', but that does not cut it people. My goodness has Cruse and these people lost the plot and yet they will make money because the masses are so 'expletive' dumb. I have said enough - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE PLEASE.

Having a hard time to make a comment here but the film sort of requires a response. Is it worth watching and if so will you actually not be forced to fast forward it every so often because it is both fascinating and totally irritating all at once. If I have to make a recommendation then it is to watch this on a computer so you can ado the fast forward because if you are trapped in a cinema it will really piss you off. OK. The overall quality of film making is actually quite good. The set is a hit for sure and the premise of the cage hotel is also OK. Where the film fails is in the tempo and in the lack of editing to make it flow better but that was most likely a challenge that the director was battling with himself. The acting and the choreography of the people movements in various parts of the film is very good. There a good number of moments when the viewer is seriously challenged as to what the hell is going on and what or how one should be interpreting the film which makes for a fairly exhausting experience which I actually liked as it is not often that a film these days reaches the level of cerebral impact. Does the film have a resolution and does it make sense and does it serve the rest of the film well? These questions are for you to answer. I do not wish to spoil anything that you may experience or feel.

It saddens me to make this post. I think it is important to separate the craft of the making of these episodes from the religious material. In regards to the making I can only say that although the scenes were well designed etc that the fake accents and the shallow script made it so unpalatable that it detracted from the main theme. The format was also a bit overbearing with the discussions at the end of each episode. These people were so far removed from modern life that one has to wonder what went on in Scorsese's mind. I felt so totally wanting to slap these people out of their weird sense of reality. They were in their historical and old world bubble and just never left the ideas of the pre industrial and scientific age. Just boring and so slily. Bow for the religious aspect and I will likely get a few hates for this. The entire Christianity thing is such a total fake. Exactly like most other religions especially that of Islam and their idiotic Koran and Mohamed guy. Desert rat trying to get a following and yes he did which says a lot about Muslims. Look people, get out of the fairyland bulsh1t that has been plaguing the world for centuries, try for once to have a close look at the real universe and stop with the personification garbage of god and all this DOGMA OF HOW WE SHOULD BEHAVE AND PROTECT OUR IMMORTAL SOUL. REALLY DUMB STUFF. THE FACT THAT NO OTHER ANIMAL ON THE PLANET HAS A NEED FOR GOD SHOULD TELL YOU THAT THE ONLY REASON WHY THE HUMAN SPECIES WITH ITS TINY LITTLE BRAIN HAS A NEED FOR ONE IS VERY WEIRD. SOME PROGRAMMING GONE WRONG HERE PEOPLE. TO SUM IT UP = GOD IS EVERYWHERE AND IN EVERYTHING OR IT IS NOT SO AND IN EITHER CASE NOTHING REALLY CHANGES THE FACT THAT WE EXIST, WE DIE AND THAT IS IT. GET USED TO IT.
