Ever wondered what would happen if the Seinfeld gang went to Philadelphia, owned a bar and did some crazy and stupid things that not even Jerry, Elaine, Kramer or George would do? That's what Always Sunny is in a nutshell.
The Gang features dimwitted Charlie Kelly (played to perfection by Charlie Day), self-loved Mac McDonald (played by Rob McElhenney, now known as Rob Mac), the psychotic Dennis Reynolds (played to devious perfection by Glenn Howerton), Dennis' twin-sister, the equally crazy Deandra aka Sweet Dee (played to sweet but dangerous perfection by Kaitlin Olson), and Dennis and Dee's uncaring father Frank (played to hilarious perfection by the one and only Danny DeVito).
This show is an absolute favorite of mine, and if you haven't seen it, go and check it out, you won't be sorry!

With the success of mockumentary sitcoms like The Office, Parks and Recreation and Modern Family, ABC decided to cash in on the genre with the help of a wonderfully, talented executive producer and a stellar cast!
Abbott Elementary features the misadventures of the crew at Willard R. Abbott Elementary School, a predominantly African-American public school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (my hometown city!), being documented in the process.
The staff features optimistic 2nd grade teacher Janine Teagues (played to perfection by the wonderfully talented Quinta Brunson), the awkwardly, good-intentioned history teacher Jacob Hill (played by Chris Perfetti), no-nonsense kindergarten teacher Barbara Howard (played to perfection by Sheryl Lee Ralph), 2nd grade teacher Melissa Schemmenti (played by the hilarious Lisa Ann Walter), school principal Ava Coleman (played to hilarious perfection by Janelle James, who is my favorite character next to Janine), Janine's eventual love interest Gregory Eddie (played by the talented Tyler James Williams) and the school's wisecracking custodian Mr. Johnson (played by William Stanford Davis).
So, if you haven't seen this critically acclaimed sitcom, then check it out now and you won't regret it!
