Watched a lot of Taiwanese dramas since young age so this one is not new to me. I came here after ChangYueJinMing to see their afterlives. It was sweet anyway and sometimes I felt like what the main actress BL said in her interview, that this life owed her a YuanSuai (male lead). I love how he loved her and helped her to grow stronger (but if I was the female lead I would also hate and run away from him haha). I dont like how the female character was built. She was depicted as a smart girl who was good enough to pass the last interview round into a famous bank but all she did in the drama was careless and stupid. I was so impressive with BaiLu's Li Su Su so I didn't like this character. Anyway, if you are into sweet love with not too many dramas or arguments, this one is for you.

Minus 1 star for the not-so-good plot. Seems like the drama was cut and edited in a careless way making me feel confused. Character building wasn't good either. However the actors and actresses did well, especially the main actor. He was very handsome in the drama and he successfully depicted the character Shangguan Tou with his acting skills especially the eyes. I love the main actress's visual too. Her crying scenes in those ending episodes were good in my opinion (I don't understand why she got negative comments on her acting skills. Not excellent, but acceptable for me, at least she knew how to cry). The one who played Hongxiu left a good impression, so did the protagonist Luwang.

Reasons to watch:

1. Amazing acting skills, especially the main actor

2. The plot is about giving up personal love and prioritizing heavier responsibility, which is saving human and the living world, not by killing the Demon God but making him one who can feel the love between family members, friends/classmates, Masters and students, Gods and living beings, especially between two people, and finally making him become one who saves the world by sacrificing himself of his own choice.

3. Logical plot which makes you curious and eager to see how things will be solved. Turns out everything is planned and connected when you reach the end of the drama.

3. Open Ending which causes a lot of controversy. For me this is a perfect ending, and viewers can have their own ways of explaining the end.

4. Costumes and accessories were given huge efforts and they are beautiful.

Finally, don't believe haters, you should experience this yourself.
