Without a doubt Peter Capaldi is my favourite Doctor and I really don't understand why people say "Doctor Who fell off after Matt Smith". I get that it's somewhat different but it clearly takes itself a bit more seriously with character arcs and morals within the stories. Just like other seasons, there are still a couple of stinkers like "In the Forest of the Night", "Sleep No More" and a handful in S10, but it honestly has some of the best episodes and story arcs in the entire show. The Doctor's character in S8 is so well formatted and built up yet not many people care for his development. Clara becomes way more fun and interesting compared to her approach in S7. They even challenge previous adaptations of certain characters and make the audience question more about them like Davros, The Master and the Timelords. Missy is probably the most interesting approach towards the Master that we've seen but so many people seemingly missed out on her content. The quality of these seasons become even more jarring when you compare it to the absolute sh**show that was S11-13. But oh well. I just hope people choose to come back and really try to get past the nostalgia surrounding the seasons 1-7.

Oh my god basically everything about this movie is great. The comedy is on par and sometimes better than its predecessors, the action sequences are easily some of the most satisfying fight scenes in the MCU and the dynamic between Deadpool and Wolverine was amazing. The cameos were also really surprising and relevant to the overall story (one in particular completely made me lose my mind). The villain was solid and entertaining enough to move the story along. However, one of my main problems was the pacing. It feels like they were able to put a 3 act movie into the first 75 minutes and then all of a sudden there's still 45 minutes left. The story after was still great but it just felt a bit off. Plus they didn't really cover the whole Deadpool Corp thing enough for me to understand and care about the conflict. It was still very funny but the narrative side was a bit confusing. Other than those small issues, this is easily one of the best things Marvel has released in a WHILE.
