This movie introduced me to the works of Stephen King. Before this I had thought he only wrote horror. I saw this movie and I realized he was a much broader author than I had given him credit for.
Wil Wheaton should have won an award for his portryal of Gordie LaChance. He genuinely gets into the part and it shows. The scene where he cries and puts his head on River Phoenix's shoulder actually brought tears to my eyes. It's too bad that he didn't do much after he left Star Trek: The Next Generation.
All in all I gave this movie a 10/10.

This show sets humanity back about 20 years. Here we have a right wing conservative Christian family evangelizing the world and condemning all wrong-doers. The only redeeming value for the show is the fact that David Gallagher is super SUPER cute! ;)
Some of the "moral issues" of the show are completely sterotypical. Simon (played by ultra hot David Gallagher) starts listening to rap music and is promptly condemned by his parents as one of his rap listening sterotypical buddies acts chauvinistically towards Simon's sister. Meanwhile the oldest brother's African American roommate quickly condemns a coworker for listening to rap music, informing him that everyone who listens to rap music are "wife beaters". Give me a break!
The show is horribly acted, horribly written, and horribly directed. If it weren't popular and a tv series I would expect a show like Mystery Science Theater 3000 to take a stab at it one day.

Call me a softie but I just love Courage! His weekly exploits as he saves his owners from certain doom are just wonderful. The animation is terrific and the plots are funny and well written.
Anyone who dislikes this show has no sense of humor.
Oh, and if Johnny has five apples and Davey has four apples, why don't they just shut up and eat?
Stupid dog!
