They are trying to humanize the cylons, "omg can you believe they killed Sharon, they didn't even give her a trial" as if a killing robot that just attempted to assassinate the commander of mankinds last military deserves a trial. They seem to forget how the cylon killed literally billions of humans at the start of the series, 99.999% of mankind got genocided yet we're suppose to feel bad for her? "uh no that was a different Sharon, i'm super nice" yea ok, as if the other Sharon wasn't nice before she was activated right?

Then there's the part of Roslin wanting to go back to Caprica to pick up people because there are some scattered survivors, yea there are a few survivors so what? Even if they survive the constant cylon attacks they will just die of radiation once their drugs run out, There is no reason to risk the remaining humans to try and recruit a few more, better to just take your people and keep searching for earth.

Then there's the whole Baltar situation, it was funny and interesting but the ending means 1 of 2 things, either 6 is psychic and predicted it would happen or Sharon is once again programmed and will soon enough begin slaughtering humans again.
