Nice squib action...and a bit of character development while we're at it, too. This one provided a lot more action than I expected, and even features a magnificent car chase sequence. Director DeCoteau did a great job, and also honed his skills with the similar Lady Avenger. Plus, I urge you to check out Prey of the Jaguar. So if you're looking for action, go for American Rampage. Cool, explosive cover art, too.

This is one of Wynorski's finest pictures. Right from the goofy opening, this movie is very exciting and doesn't ever get boring. Obviously, the people who made this had a very fun time and that shows in the finished product. Sort of a killer robot version of the classic, Dawn of the Dead. The background music is very hokey, too, but memorable and perfect for this genre. It's time some humor came along at this period of time for the horror genre. Lots of memorable dialogue, plenty of action, and I'm sure you'll have a fun time watching this. I know I did.

This is easily the greatest film that I will never, ever see...unless of course Mr. Ray releases it one of these days. In fact, the question I have is: Is The Brain Leeches a better film than my own Attack of the Bathroom Creature? I probably wouldn't bet on it, but they seem to have several things in common. 1. both have great titles, yet, horrible plots and terrible acting; 2. the first was directed by Fred Olen Ray, who has gone on to become of the greatest film directors of all-time, and the latter was directed by Eric Spudic, who has since not sold a single script and still dreams of directing his first film for a studio. Oh well, that's all I have to say...
