I watched it with a 9- and a 13-year-old girl (my daughters) and my wife. It was definitely the Peter Pan version that best fitted them and also, of course, modern sensibilities. While it was really trying hard to make the old story of white boys fighting and some embarrassing stereotypes (damsel in distress, native Americans etc.) fit modern day's sensibilities I didn't feel the changes were wrong, I kind of cheered and also found it touching to see a boy with Down syndrome get a real role. This Wendy was definitely one that fitted my girls better than the old versions and my older daughter rooted for Captain Hook from the beginning; the character got a nice and interesting new backstory this time. The movie, the action could have been more exciting (that's why it's only 7 stars) but it was pretty well done, a good (even if not great) modern take on the dated original.
So the Mandalorian is back and it does not spend much time explaining the off-series story: yes, you better watch The Book of Boba Fett to understand what happened between Season 2 and 3 but maybe that's okay by now.
On the action front it's all you need from Star Wars and The Mandalorian - some creature action, some space chase and even some Western shooting. Check, check, check. And of course some cute Grogu added. It doesn't bring lots of new ideas or emotions or depth to the series but it is functional in setting up some of the story threads and conflicts for this season. It is good, but I hope it goes back to great as the story develops.

This is not the marvel show that those who don't know what to expect from She-Hulk expect. It has forced humor (that often falls flat and for a large part it's a bit painful to watch - despite the very likeable main actress. That's what I thought until, scratching my head, I opened a She-Hulk compilation. And I just saw that it was completely true to the base material. So now I think it's pretty cool that this series dares to be this... strange... just to be the She-Hulk the fans of the comics like. If the courtroom scenes had better writing and the jokes were a bit smarter, it would be great.
