Krishna Shah's masterpiece is a beautifully put together movie about a band who comes into town to play a show, but all of the old townspeople don't care for their music. Great songs, great special effects, a perfect movie. It was the first(that I know of) of the "Butt Rock Music/Zombie/Horror" genre. Some of the others: Rocktober Blood, Trick or Treat, etc. If you liked Hard Rock Zombies, you should like those. After HRZ, Krishna went on to make "American Drive-In" a hilarious comedy about an old drive-in. The movie being played at the drive-in is none other than "Hard Rock Zombies." And the midget/zombie in HRZ plays himself in this movie, and critiques his acting. But back to HRZ : SEE IT !!!!

One of the best of its kind. Oz Scott follows up his awesome 1988 comedy, Crash Course, with this hilarious and energetic piece of fluff set on a cruise liner. The rich snobs get to all go on their high school's class cruise, but the two kids from a lower class find their way on board. Boz (Michael Deluise) is on board with Sam(Billy Warlock) and Sam meets a beautiful girl (Brooke Theiss). The only problem is that he's just a middle class loser, and she's a prep. One of the funniest movies ever.

A hilarious comedy by the best director ever, Oz Scott. The list of eighties TV icons goes on and on. Milano (Who's The Boss), Yothers (Family Ties), Stone (Mr. Belvedere), Robinson (Night Court), Jackee (227), D'abo (Wonder Years), Walston (Mr. Hand!!!). It is one of the funniest movies ever. Great lines, meaningless subplots, cheesy, bad acting. It is about a group of high school kids who need to pass drivers' ed. Mac from Night Court needs them to pass their final exam, or he'll be fired. Great performance by Brian Bloom as the jerk/kinda cool guy Riko Conner, but is nothing compared to B.D. Wong's Kiki (pronounced kee-chee). A great movie for all ages, so bad it's good.
