That really says it all. I thought the original Den of Thieves was one of the great heist caper movies ever made, so the bar was very high and sure enough this sequel doesn't come close. With the exception of the "nice" Nice locale and cinematography, there is very little going for Den of Thieves Pantera. Rather than coming up with a story similar to the first movie, it looks like Gerard and O'Shea spent most of their time dining. They both look bloated and out of shape, esp Gerard. We're a long way off from the 300, that's for sure!!

The plot is contrived and the runtime is wayyyy too long. Seriously was there an editor for this film? Sheesh. The heist scene was unbearably long and so unbelievable. I think the local 7/11 has better security.

We are being setup for a 3rd movie obviously. Let's hope some lessons are learned and they get back to basics that made the first movie an all time great.

I think the director wanted to be "cute" by having no dialogue in the movie.....wow was he wrong. It just made a boring movie all the worse because we, the audience, could not build any attachment to the protagonist. It was more of a kids movie to be honest. Not an adult movie. Had I known that I could've saved 2 hours of complete boredom.

Dull dull dull with a story that was never interesting, never suspenseful, and we did not even have the benefit of any dialogue to hold onto. I cannot believe that some users actually can give a total bomb of a movie like this a 10!!! They are saying this is the best a movie can be. Perfection. That is mind-blowing.
