I'm telling all of you, this is a phenomenal new show. The acting is out of this world...Sela Ward and Billy Campbell are electrifying and their combined 4 kids are played by wonderful child actors who don't look fake or sound whiny. A well written, funny, poingant series...A KEEPER

When Another World was taken off the air on June 25, 1999, I was so sad. Sad that a show that had provided me with so much entertainment, both laughter and tears, for almost 7 years, was dying. The cast was the best in daytime, no doubt about it. Names like Vicky Wyndham, Douglass Watson, Constance Ford, Tom Eplin, Stephen Schnetzer, Jensen Buchanan, Judi Luciano, Matt Crane, Alice Barrett Mitchell, Linda Dano and so many more will forever make me smile. Another World never fell victim to the crazy stories (except in the last 3 or 4 years when NBC tried to kill the show time and time again with a slew of new execs who didn't care about the history and integrity of the show, or the fans). AW was always about PEOPLE, not plot. It was about human relationships: true love shared between couples--Mac and Rachel, Carl and Rachel, Cass and Frankie, Jake and Paulina, Joe and Paulina, Ryan and Vicky, JAKE AND VICKY...it was about friendships--Cass and Felicia, Rachel and Felicia, Matt and Morgan, Jake and Paulina, Jake and Vicky, Vicky and Paulina...it was about humor--Grant and Cindy, Lila and Cass, Jake and Vicky...it was about family--the Corys, the Frames, the Winthrops, the Hudsons, the McKinnons...

I miss the show every day...there is nothing else like it on television.

I was dying to see this movie because I had loved the Hayley Mills version so much growing up. I went in with expectations for a "cute" movie, but not one as good as the first. I also went to see Lindsay Lohan, who I had adored as Allie on Another World.

I was blown away by this film. My eyes were repeatedly filled with tears {when Hallie and Annie realize they are sisters, when they switch and meet the other parents for the first time--especially Hallie meeting her mom!, when Chessie realizes that she's looking at Annie and not Hallie}. Lindsay Lohan will amaze and stun you with her talent, humor, and beauty. Natasha Richardson and Dennis Quaid are unbelievable as well.

I was impressed at how the writers had updated the film, yet kept the flair, story, and some of the lines from the original version. When Hallie breaks into "Let's Get Together," you can't help but smile! This movie will delight you, as will Lindsay Lohan--she'll go on to do great things.

If you loved the first, you will ADORE this version. If you have yet to see the first, you will love this, but go see Hayley Mills' version first!
