Honestly watching this film I could see how it was made. The guys wanted to top the other films they had done, so they got a cast of actors willing to do softcore porn shots, wrote a flimsy storyline to support the gore and then Google'd several sexual fetishes to make the film even edgier. I will give them props for putting guys through the paces as well as girls. Honestly seeing men in these situations is far more interesting to me and there are so few films that even include them. However, it's still only a couple of scenes. The movie itself (minus the male skin) isn't really worth watching. The effects are passable (especially if you thought August underground was decent)and the acting is about what you'd expect from Toe Tag (which is to say a bunch of foul mouth Southern Good-Ole-Boys and Trailer Park Chicks).

There are other and better gore films out there. This one is only for Toe Tag fans. And I think it's pretty clear that any rating over a 4 is from someone who was on set or sleeping with a cast member...

Admittedly, when I saw 'Scream For Me', it was on a collection DVD with some other films that were apparently New York's finest in horror. If this is the best they got, I am glad I live on the West Coast.

The story here may be a little new, but only because it goes somewhere no other story had gone (to my knowledge). But other than that small opening, there is nothing here original or even very good. The acting is over the top. Tony Simmons is a good looking man (thank you for the nude scenes), but he has the acting caliber of someone on The Disney Channel only with more "F words". The young mister Gabriel Sigal gets to do a lot of drooling and looking his version of 'terrorized', but never really DOES anything. The Hot Topic Emo Band voice over at the end completely killed any sense of dread, shock or horror the film manged to conjure up in the last 3 of it's 22 minutes. The Texas Chainsaw meets MTV "snap shots" at the end were laughable and again, killed what could have been a nice, shocking ending.

Short answer: This is tripe. Just further proof that Horror may not be dead just yet, but it's having some really sad little throws before the next big Hollywood Remake forces a flat-line on the entire genre. Movie like this one are certainly doing it no Good...

It's interesting how the only comments are from people who worked on the film. Well, I did not work on the film, but I have been a huge Phillips fan for a long time. I bought his first movie on DVD, even despite the fact that it was poorly animated and even worse on the vocal talents. It was still Phillips work animated. I had hoped that he learned some tricks on the first one and by this time around maybe we'd see a little more polish. The only thing it looks like they did was buy a copy of Poser (a 3D modeling and animation program). The animation is chunky and mostly an eye sore. The plot is about what you'd expect from something calling itself Porn, but it's never hot enough to actually achieve Porn status. Think of a porno without the hot sex, and rendered in a commercial program, voiced by folks who are sitting around a Mac with a built in Mic and you may have an idea of what's in store.

The sad thing is that Phillips is an amazing artist. It's just sad that since his focus is usually on male erotica, he's left doing movies as poorly done as this one because no one will give him a budget and a crew to do better. This makes 2 of 2 that were really badly done. I won't be buying a third if he makes one. He's gotten enough of my money.
