How dare this is called a "spin-off"? These are essentially 24 one-minute mobi-episodes that have appeared on cell phones as a promotional tool for season four. The events take place at a CTU in Washington D.C. Great idea and premise for a TRUE spin-off series, however not on a cell phone. These shows can only be found on the seventh disc of the fourth season box set of "24".

Doing it as a one-minute segment loses its flavor and edge. The characters are one- dimensional, the storyline is if somebody essentially "remade" the first season and it looks like a college-student film: the budget is around the vicinity of $25-100. This is a 24 mobi- epiisode show on cell phone, so I hope this doesn't come back for a second mobiseason.

Review: "These Hands"

The message is clear, but it is overly long and boring (Not to mention tiresome). Nothing but 55 minutes of actual footage of African women mining stones, trying to scrape by with enough money to feed their kids and put a roof over their heads; it takes a while for the message to become clear. This is however, a good ethnographic documentary film, but only limit it to classroom viewing, nothing to own on video/DVD or anything like that.

Picked up for distribution in 2001, "Waterproof" is Cloud Ten Pictures' finest achievement in its library. It should have garnered a limited, or even a platform, release because of superb acting by all, the finest elements of cinematography I have ever seen, great direction my Barry Berman, and a move shot in the real location of Waterproof, Louisiana. Along with a gospel message, fine score, and beautiful songs of Southern Gospel, "Waterproof" is a movie experience that will be greatly received by all who see it. **** out of **** (Even this is far better than Cloud Ten's "Left Behind" series)
