Saw this at a sneak premiere at Bergen Kino tonight (29/10-24) presented by the director and main actor.. This movie tells the story about one of Norways most famous resistance fighter(s) and it does it as well as it could possibly do.

I'm not a person who let my emotions take the best of me but this movie hit me quite hard.

I struggled with not crying in many scenes and the whole movie is a rollercoaster of how a war movie can and should be.

It's based on Gunnar "Kjakan" Sønstebys life during WW2 and the German occupation of Norway.

As a veteran myself, I was stunned by the realism, the choices they had to make and also the moral aspects of the movie.

Is it okay to kill one nazi individual when the consequences are ten or more other Norwegians killed by the nazis as revenge?

Just watch this movie! Truly one of the best Norwegian movies ever made.

And that includes the original "9 liv".

Ok. I don't understand why people have rated this show 7,5 as of 1st of November 2023.

I can give the show 3 stars for the idea and some of the action scenes but overall this show stinks more than my underwear after 12 hours of sweaty work.

The actors REALLY stinks and I usually don't care if actors are meh.

But these actors are a whole new level in bad performances.

Compared to this cast, Madonna is a true Oscar candidate for the movies she did in the 80s.

It actually hurts to see them speak their lines.

Was the budget of this show so low that everybody agreed to find people on the street and ask them to pretend to be actors?

And wtf is up with Robert Patrick's eyebrows???

The only real actor and they gave him Botox or something in his eyebrows.

That's just weird... Still people gave this show a rating of 7,5.

The world is going downhill.

Why are there so many reviewers hating this mini-series?

This is a lot of fun with decent actors and good production value.

I just saw all episodes and I thought it was really good.

Yes, it felt like the story should have been five or six episodes instead of just four getting to know all the characters better but still; this is way better than most of the crap productions Netflix has to offer.

I liked the way they gave small clues to the original series and I think they can now come up with new and other exciting mini-series spanning the 1200 years between this and The Witcher.

Looking forward to it.
