SS-Oberfuhrer Shellenberg is shown throughout the film as wearing the rank of Brigadefuhrer which is one rank higher.

The black SS dress uniform worn by Himmler during his last night in the SS cabin was not used by the SS during the Second World War. Himmler wore this black uniform at diplomatic and state functions up to 1938, but afterwards the SS had adopted a gray SS dress tunic worn with a silver belt and full medals. This second dress uniform Himmler in fact rarely wore, and spent the majority of World War II dressed in his standard gray SS office tunic, even at high level functions.

Himmler's SS adjutant is wearing the German Cross on the wrong side of his uniform (it is incorrectly displayed on the left breast pocket instead of the right) and also is shown to be wearing a German Fire Police sleeve emblem which was never worn on the SS uniform but only on the green German police jacket.

When Shellenberg (Slamon) is whipping the POW when his SS Guard brings in the phone you can clearly see an orange extension cord plugged into the wall behind them.

Himmler was 44 years old when he committed suicide. Actor David B. Stewart III, who plays Himmler, looks nowhere close to this age.
