First things first. The English subtitles used in the video were at times grammatically wrong or just laborious to read. i had to stop the streaming and go back to make sense of the dialog.

The story is basically a coming of age drama where older woman needs music writing inspiration and young student needs to learn the way with girls/women and love. Not bad for a late night, nothing better to watch, love story. I enjoyed it (I made it to the end) but would have preferred I had found something better.

Love is not always forever. We may need to say goodbye with lover someday. But what important is that you would remember these views of love. All wounds are cured by time. Both the boy and the lady are hurt. They still need to live their life. It was enough to get romance.

Ko Kyoung's "Love Lesson" (2013) attempts to portray a quirky and unconventional romance between an aspiring cartoonist and her new, older art instructor, but ultimately falls flat, delivering a cringeworthy and unmemorable cinematic experience. The supposed "charming" connection between the protagonists feels forced and artificial, lacking the emotional authenticity necessary to make their relationship believable or engaging. The dialogue, often laden with clichéd pronouncements about art, life, and love, feels painfully artificial, as if the writers simply strung together a series of awkward encounters without any regard for natural conversation or character progression. Instead of a fresh take on romance, it offers a superficial and often uncomfortable spectacle of misguided affection.

Is it worth watching? No, unless you have an exceptionally high tolerance for awkward romantic tropes and a superficial portrayal of a relationship. There are far more nuanced and impactful films that explore the complexities of love and mentorship.
